At R3 Athlete Performance, our mission is simple: to help dedicated athletes unlock their full potential. It’s a journey built on discipline, sweat, and a relentless pursuit of excellence—reps, recover, results. When that hard work translates into on-field dominance and major recognition, we take a moment to celebrate.

Today, we are incredibly proud to highlight three extraordinary young women who embody the R3 spirit. These elite softball players, who train here at R3, have just been named to the prestigious Newsday’s Top 100 Softball Players on Long Island. This is one of the highest honors for high school athletes in the region, and seeing our athletes on this list is a powerful confirmation of their talent and the effectiveness of our training programs.

Let’s meet the R3 standouts dominating the diamond:

🥎 Katherine Krayewski: The Batting Barrage

A junior shortstop for Kings Park, Katherine Krayewski is an absolute force at the plate. Her offensive stats last season were staggering, proving she is one of the most elite hitters on Long Island. Katherine wrapped up her remarkable season with a jaw-dropping .494 batting average, a powerhouse .561 on-base percentage, and a massive 1.197 OPS. Those aren’t just stats; they are a clear indication of her focus, power, and ability to execute under pressure. We’ve watched Katherine put in countless hours at R3, refining her swing and building the explosive core strength needed for that kind of performance. We can’t wait to see what she does this season.

🥎 Arianna Kelly-Weihberg: A1 From the Circle

Representing Patchogue-Medford, sophomore Arianna Kelly-Weihberg is quickly proving she’s one of the best pitchers on the Island. Known as “A1” for her dominance in the circle, Arianna earned the League I Pitcher of the Year honors—a massive achievement for a freshman. She enters her sophomore year with an incredible resume: a 13-3 pitching record, including three dominant shutouts. She racked up 100+ strikeouts, consistently proving that she has the command, movement, and mental toughness of a veteran ace. Arianna is a complete player, also starring as an outfielder and bringing a strong bat. Her commitment to the R3 program, especially her focus on leg drive and rotational power, is paying massive dividends.

🥎 Emma Lombardi: A Senior Star & Leader

Rounding out our R3 trio is senior catcher Emma Lombardi from Kings Park. A true veteran leader on the field, Emma was a key component of the Suffolk Class A runners-up team. At the plate, she’s a steady and reliable presence, hitting a superb .350 with a .395 OBP and an impressive .883 OPS. As a senior, Emma’s impact extends far beyond her statistics; her leadership from behind the plate and her work ethic are prime examples of what makes a champion. We are proud that Kings Park High School chose R3 to support their team’s athletic development, and we are excited to celebrate her senior year success.

Seeing Katherine, Arianna, and Emma on Newsday’s Top 100 is more than just a proud moment; it’s a validation of our entire approach. At R3, we don’t just “train” athletes—we build them. We focus on movement efficiency, strength development, rotational power, and mental resilience, giving them the tools they need to perform when the spotlights are brightest.
